The website sais that it will work with passive pickups. ANY passives or does it require something special, like 4 conductor wiring or something ?

It's really cool & worth getting. i use it with a JB & Hotrails, it provides a hefty boost i run it about half & it adds an extra sizzle on the Hotrails in the neck.
