Question for Antiquity strat pup users...

I have a Antiquity I set in my strat. What effect on the tone would replacing the middle pickup with a Antiquity II RWRP pup have? (Is the latter an A5?)

Would I get brighter quack in the 2&4 positions? Would it match up properly with the ANt I neck or would the difference in treble be too noticeable?

If only the SD site would include Antiquity pups in its Tone Comparison Chart, that would probably answer some of my questions.

Thanks in advance.

i dont think you want to get the rw/rp version, just the normal antiquity II. the two series are magnetically out of phase so to get humcancelling just flip the wires on the middle pup. antiquity I series is a2, antiquity II series is a5.

the ant II in the middle will give you better notch tones. it should match up with the ant I in the neck fine. youll find you may want to keep the middle pup a little lower since it has stronger magnets but that just helps the notch tones even more.
