Yeah man... isn't it nice to be able to fine tune the pickup to your instrument with a simple magnet swap! It's nice when the guys in the band notice the greatness of a spectacular tone... interesting... their comment about hearing ALL THE NOTES because that is one of my favorite qualities on the C/59... you hit a big G chord and every note and frequency seem to have equal say... kind of like the best of AC/DC's tones.

Pete....It was really cool last night to use a very high gain SLO 100 type preset and get not only singing sustain,but also to retain great overall note clarity and more highs...I don't have a problem with highs when playing my strats and Teles,but I sometimes find I could use more jangle from the bridge position of my LP....I could tweak the amp,but the A5 magnet took care of a few problems I had..Mainly the fix was(Tightness,brighter,crisp,clear articulate tone)....

My bass player has great ears from years of playing...During the break he told me that my tone seemed clearer,crispier,and that he actually heard every note cleanly...This is something I can always do with single coils,but to get this with an 11k humbucker was a pretty cool feat...My drummer described my tone as just being crispier,a bit brighter,but clearer,so I know it wasn't just me...Last night was great...Nothing is better than inspiring tone and a bunch of great guys that hear your efforts all night.. :dance:
