Question for Martin D-15 owners

I'm still real happy with my new Martin D-15 Limited but one thing I noticed is that the strap button that attaches to the bottom of the guitar was in a small bag in the case pocket. In other words, you have to install it yourself? There is a pre-drilled hole but I'm pretty paranoid about jamming this thing in there. Did you guys install your own button and if so is there any secret to it or is it a simple process? I don't want to screw anything up. I'm sure it is built as solidly as it sounds but the thin satin finish has me handling this thing very delicately.

WOW, I never noticed it. I have the one on the back of mine and I tie the strat to the front of the neck. Now you have me thinking. How could have I overlooked that.

Well, if there's a hole.... uh, never mind.

Like your first girlfriend, don't overdo it... aw...

(Just shoot me.)

Just push it in with your hand. Don't push real hard, but don't baby it either. Once they're in, they seem to stay put.

Congrats on your new Martin. I ordered the same one in rosewood. It should be here in a few days... (actually one arrived damaged so I had to send it back)

Try pushing in the button with your hand. With a little pressure, it should pop in and stay in...

Enjoy!
