Can you use the pedals in stereo mode with each other or an amp? I'm really interested in picking up the VHT and the Diesel pedals...just wondering....

Well, it could be done rather easily I would say. You'd just need a power amp, a stereo cabinet, and an ABY Pedal, or a power amp, two cabinets, and an ABY Pedal. At least that's how I'm picturing it at the moment with my buzz...lol. It really shouldn't be any different that running to heads at the same time.

That's just my opinion, but I'm sure NostraDominus can tell you a better way.

From the D2 page on Musician's Friend:

AMT has added a third output jack for the ultimate in routing flexibility. The Legend II series includes a speaker simulated cab output (for recording), a preamp output (for routing to a power amp), and a drive output (for using in front of a combo amp or head). All three of these outputs can be used simultaneously. Use the different outputs for recording direct and micing at the same time, run different effects through different outputs, or record three DAW tracks all at once. The routing and recording options are endless. The Legend II Series of pedals are a studios engineers dream come true.

Re: Question for you fellas who use the AMT Preamp Pedals....

I really love the AMT stuff. I have an SS-20, A D2, and their 50 Watt Stonehead 4 channel head. Plus the wah, reverberry, chameleon cab pedals too. I swap out between D2 and SS-20 on my VK micro head all the time running into fx return. Their JFET stuff is really good and very pick attack and volume knob responsive. They make some switching pedals too. I suppose it would be easy to run several legend series II or mix of SS preamps and legend II with a switcher going into two heads with fx loops. I prefer the fx return over running drive out on my D2, but drive out sounds pretty good too. It basically turned my 20 Watt Acoustic brand practice amp into a little monster practice amp using the D2 drive out into clean channel. Really great products. The stonehead 50 watter is an amazing little amp with lots of options for input, output, tone shaping, etc. it is really versatile. I'm constantly changing up my sounds and a quick switch of pedals back to VK II preamp in the micro head is fun too. satisfies the tone chaser in me. All sound great. Even VK II built in preamp.

I'm wanting to try a few more of the legend series II models. The D2 is awesome.

Can you use the pedals in stereo mode with each other or an amp? I'm really interested in picking up the VHT and the Diesel pedals...just wondering....

Can you elaborate on what you are trying to achieve?

If you want to switch from one preamp to the other into the same cam then any switching pedal between these pedals and your power amp should do the trick. If you want to play real stereo with one pream feeding one cab and the other a different cab then you either need two mono power amps or a stereo power amp. For example you can plug each of those pedals into a NYC Tech 21 Power Engine 60s and turn on/off at will, or you may use a ISP Stealt Power Amp feeding each input with a different preamp and the stealth driving two different cabs.
