just use some common sense, use the preview feature, and resize it if it's too large ...

actually, attachments show up as links, not in your post unless you link to an image on a server

some people post pics that are wider than the screen - that's probably too big

I forget the actual number but resize pics down so that they don't expand the size of the post window.

Overly large attachments slow down the loading speed and makes the SD experience less enjoyable for the dial-up folks. Most JPGs should be well under 1 meg so it shouldn't be a problem.

I think it´s somewhere around 1 MB... BUUUUT: know that that space is shared by ALL of your attachments..... I for example have 75.x kb used, and I have no idea where that post is.... so ise it with caution ;)
