question on Acoustic piezo bridges: Graphtech vs. LR Baggs

Hey guys, I currently have the Graphtech Acoustiphonic setup in my Quicksilver guitar. Its got great acoustic tone, and is pretty straightforward to use, but the only thing I don't like is that the magnetic pickups are always going through the board, and are powered by the battery. They state that its unity gain and has no effect on tone, but I like the LR Baggs systems that allow for the option of having the mags go unaffected as well as the blend and acoustic tones.

Has anyone ever compared the LR BAGGS Ctrl X and T-Bridge to the Graphtech Acoustiphonic system?

The things I would like to compare are the acoustic tones, as well as the reliability of the system, and the effect of the saddles on each ( the graphtech one uses graphite saddles, the LR Baggs uses metal).

Thanks

Dre

Merely extrapolation, but I think that the Graphtech system will be a bit warmer due to the Graphite saddles. I have a Shadow tune-o-matic loaded with Piezos running into a Fishman Powerchip and you can hear the metal saddles.
