Question on DPDT/DP3T mini switches

I'm slightly confused on how to wire a DPDT on/on/on (which I think is technically a DP3T even though it isn't normally called by that name).

I'd like to know how to wire them as Series/Split (South)/Parallel and I would also like to know what to wire up for Series/Split (North)/Parallel as the diagrams on Guitar Electronics don't seem quite right somehow.

I'd also like to know if it's possible to do Series/Series (Out of Phase - not hum canceling)/Parallel with a DPDT on/on/on (DP3T).

A DPDT On-On-On is not a DP3T. (I was looking for one) With the above switch you get something like this, looking at the poles.

That second position might be opposite, check your switch, but see how in the middle position you kind of getting a split of the two, not both at the same time like I used to think.

Re: Question on DPDT/DP3T mini switches

My ASCII diagram isn't working. ;) In the middle position, the upper left and middle left lugs are connected, and the middle right and lower right lugs are connected.

There is a DPDT (Center On) switch that in the middle position connects all three left lugs and all three right lugs.

I think technically, a tele 3-way switch is a DP3T switch, two independent poles, one common lug and 3 switched lugs per side.
