question regarding the 2 inputs on my tube amp

i own a peavey jsx halfstack and it has 2 inputs on it.. what im wondering is will it harm my amp if i plug a guitar into each input and play?

im starting to give lessons in a bout an hour and i dont know whether we should both plug in or not.

I am pretty sure that when you plug a cord into the first input, you'll mute the second one.

If not, i don't see how it could possibly damage your amp.

my guitar teach and i both plug into his peavey, i'm not sure what model it is. some little solid state, it didn't seem to damage anything. Call peavey to make sure. i'm sure their customer support could give you better answers than we can.
