Questions for you DIYers

Question the first:

I just bought a 2x12 speaker cab from Avatar in red tolex. I love it!

I want to try to build a head cab to match. After a brief search, I found a few sources - but I was wondering if any of you could recommend a good source for tolex and cabinet parts (corners, handles, feet, etc.)

Question the second:

I'm trying to engineer an easy way to move this cab. It's not too heavy, but sometimes I have a ways to go and I'm already making several trips back and forth to the car. I was thinking that something like a luggage thing with a pull-up handle might so the trick. Turn the cab itself into a dolly and stack a few things on top of it.

Has anyone ever tried something like this? I'm kind of worried about loose hardware attached to the cab rattling - so that's a concern.

I suppose I could just carry a dolly with me in the car - but then that just becomes another thing to load.

Ideas?

I would e-mail Dave at Avatar, and explain that you want to match his cab with a head. He's a really helpful guy - I'm sure he'll either sell you a piece of matching Tolex, or tell you exactly what it is, so you can buy the same thing.
