Quick help on Ebay purchase!!!!!

hey guys
i need your quick advice on this fender MIJ guitar!!

tell me what u think of it

its a 1983 JV strat which is currenty at 540AUD which is like 250US

waht do you think of it?
the run down:
57 model - black, maple neck
'made in japan' has been sanded off the headstock
perfect condition
the JV neckplate has been changed with a normal fender one
the neck 'butt' has the date of completion in pencil as 83. the body neck pocket has the lettt X stamped in there - so im pretty sure its a genuine JV - same tuners as well as other JV's

any advice on this purchase would be much respected!!!

for 250? Hell yeah but i wouldn't pay more than 400.

I've seen them go for less too... keep looking man.

Btw this is coming from a habitual impulse buyer
