aleclee Major General GAS Nov 28, 2005 #2 Re: quick ohm reminder Generally, a 2:1 mismatch either way should be okay. If I had a choice, I'd go with the mismatch into a lower-impedance cab but there's no shortage of disagreement about which impedance mismatch is less hazardous to the amp.
