Quick Pickup Cover/Paint Question

If I was to order a Cool Rail, Vintage Rail and Hot Rail would I be able to unseat the plastic cover, paint and replace? Or are the pickup bottoms glued to the cover?

if you purchase a new rails pup then the covers are attached

Understood. I was just asking whether or not the covers could be removed, so that I can paint them.

i know

the covers are physically attached and should not be removed since you could damage the coil. if you really wanted to paint them, they i would suggest doing it very carefully with out removing the covers.

if you can find the older style rails pups the covers are not attached
