Quick question about Audition

I just recently got a sm57 and I started recording stuff. When i use audition 2.0 it stops recording when I click on the another program, so it runs in the background. My question is Do you need to have Audition to be the active window at all times just so you can record? If it does not how do I do that.

I don't think you can expect it to keep recording if you click to another program. Recording is a pretty sensitive process ...

It's like in Cubase now. Audition 1 didn't work that way, you could do everything and it recorded nevertheless.
