So good friend of mine borrowed me this JCM 800, so have a bit of fun and make quick demo.

Playing starts at 0:52.

This is a bit unusual Marshall It was Heavily modified by Salvation Audio, it has a lot of gain, 6550 powertubes, old 80's Drake Transformer and a lot of components replaced. Recorded through Bogner 4x12 cab with Celestion T75 speakers, AKG C414 and Royer R121 microphones. guitar is 1959 Reissue Les Paul. tiny bit of modulation and delay is by Eventide H3000, reverb by Lexicon PCM91

I like it. The amp sounds killer. This is what I picture a beefed up jcm 800 to sound like

Fantastic tones. That's my idea of an awesome sounding Marshall right there.

Nothing beats a juiced up old JCM 800 :bigthumb:

oddly enough a lot of people gave me positive feedback about this demo, but in the begging I didn't like the sound and was about to delete video

Cool video bro!! Does anybody know an editing app that i could use for my videos?

Hey, nice video, man! That amp sounds insane; it has such a full-bodied tone! For editing vids like this, I usually go for something straightforward but with enough tools to make it pop. You should try Movavi. It's super intuitive, even if you're relatively new to editing, and it does a solid job with audio syncing and effects. I've used it for a few demo videos, and their templates save so much time without over-complicating things. It's worth checking out Movavi, which offers practical solutions for video editing needs.

Killer! What I love about modded 800's is that they're like PAFs lol. Everyone has a different take on the perfect modded 800. This one sounds killer!

I've always liked stock 800's as a pedal platform for OD pedals. That way, you can tailor the highgain to taste.

Living in LA from the 80's - 2022, I got to try nearly every variety of modded Marshall.
One amp I wish I still owned was one previously owned by producer, Bob Rock....supposedly used by Metallica and The Cult.
