qustion about usb interfaces

One last question about digital recording. I'm trying to decide what usb interface to buy. I'm hopping not to spend more then $200. What are my best options. I want great sound but I mostly wont to keep it simple and not break the bank.

You might be better off with a firewire interface or great PCI souncard, like the Mia or Layla...both are a lot faster than USB.

If you really want USB, I here the M-Audio MobilePre is great (our singer uses one)...great for laptop recording.
