I have an "old style" (uncovered) Duncan Designed rail pickup; I'm getting full (23k DC) output at the jack, so nothing is shorted out, but... Doing a screwdriver test on each rail, one is much louder than the other. There's also a lot less magnetic pull on that side.
Could it be that one side of the magnet isn't contacting the rail? If so, is there any good way to correct this?
