This track was recorded using my Fender Strat, RC Booster, Carl Martin compressor limiter, A/B box into a 59 HW Marshall plexi Super Lead 100 with Bray mod 1 and Marshall JMP 50 MK II.

Re: Rainbow Visions

I like the image placement on this,as well as the music.
Just wondering if you use any compression on the bass in the mix?

thanks so much...and yes a compressor and a vintage preamp was inserted on the bass track using Logic Pro.

Re: Rainbow Visions

Thanks for the answer . You've got quite a collection of tracks at your site, there.I'm presuming you have a studio of some kind.I'm interested to know what your general setup is?:cool2:

Re: Rainbow Visions

You really should get some better mic's, a condenser would give you so much clearer tone/frequency range. I personally don't like SM's at all,but i guess they have their uses.Condensers on the other hand, have a much better frequency response, and much better top and bottom end.Overall far better balanced.I use an AKG C1000S myself.

Re: Rainbow Visions

You actually manage to get good sounds out of your sm's,but i think that's the reason some parts sound a bit muddy to me,and i do think you would improve on your sound with a condenser. This would do your music more justice in your creativity and presentation.

I do like your music Frank. It's good value to me.
