Rare Amp

i traded some guitar stuff for an old 2x12 Supreme Tube Amp
think it's from the 1960's made in Canada

has 1 6V6GT power tube and 3 preamp tubes
there is a long metal cylinder by the tubes
what is inside there? maybe all tube amps have one

the amp has 3 inputs with no labels, tone and volume control
since the tubes look original, maybe the amp would really come to life if i put all new tubes in sometime!
maybe even some new speakers

The long metal cylinder is probably the filter caps - it's called a multisection cap because it has 2 or 3 individual caps in one can.

Three preamp tubes for a single-ended 6V6 amp, seems like a lot. Maybe one's a recifier - EZ81 perhaps?

Does the amp have reverb or tremolo? That would account for an extra preamp tube or two. Is that a footswitch jack I see?

ya the amp has onboard tremolo it sounds really funky haha
there's a footswitch jack on there next to the 3 inputs
