really bad luck, sort of

well it came a horendous storm here yesterday. lightning actually hit my house(or at least i think it did). i have all my electronics run through surge protectors and have always had good luck with them protecting stuff if lightning did run through the house. this time was a little more violent though, the power had just went off after the first clap of thunder, so i went to unplug my amps and other stuff. as i walked into my jam room it sounded like a canon blast and fire shot out of all the outlets about 2 foot and all the light bulbs burst with flames reminisent of a shotgun blast in the dark. threw glass everywhere. well i unplugged everything, and after the power came on it had fried my ps1, my new stereo system, the t.v., my line 6 and did something to my crate excaliber. (i was lucky i guess that the peavey had been retired to the closet and the x-box wasnt plugged in.

now for a question to all the amp gurus. the line 6 is dead, no power or anything, but the crate powers up, but the only thing that comes through now is a staticy buzz, no sound from a guitar. can it be fixed? what sounds like the problem? i figure it didnt get as bad of a jolt since it is still working, just no sound other than static. i love that amp, and really dont want to have to scrap it. any suggestions as to what may fix it?

its a solid state amp model gx900h if that may help anyone.

F*ck josh... long live my ol line6 you didn't even have it for a month.

Buy something nice to replace it If you want to buy the same one back though, it was a Spider I, not a Spider II

hell i never paid that ,uch attention to the model other than spider.lol.
talked to insurance guy today, so everything should be better than before. i got my amp tech to make up some receipts on the line 6 and crate head(said he did a lot of mods to it, hehehe) and for my new stereo and playstation. adjuster came to a figure of about 1500 so im gonna buy a marshall 800 half stack, replace the line 6 with a used one, and buy a new stereo and a ps2 instead of the ps1. founsd some killler deals on the stuff, and i should have enough left over to replace my excaliber provided i dont just spend whats left over to have it fixed. so i guess everything worked out pretty damn nicely.
