ok, so i've got a boss ce-3 chorus MiJ that's about as old as i am, along with a digitech flanger modeler (x-series? i'unno). using either pedal as the only modulation on my board works pretty well. however, when i've got both on there, the flanger messes with the chorus whether the flanger is on or off. i get this really, really funky chimy-bright swirl happening in the background that's just really annoying. at first i thought my chorus was acting up since it's pretty old, but it's just the interaction between the two.
anyways, my question is this... is there any sort of fix i can do to solve this issue, or is the digitech pedal un-moddable? i'm guessing it's the second one, but there's always hope right? i mean, i really like the sound of each pedal separately and together, but that high noise floor makes them unusable together.

i've tried switching the pedals and it hasn't worked. they are running off of the same power supply though, which having issues with that hadn't occured to me since i've always run everything off of one without any issues before. i'll try running one of or both off of a battery.
