Recomend Replacement Tuning Keys

I am looking to replace the tuning keys on a Les Paul Custom and I am wonder what everyone would recomend. Grover seems to be the most popular choice but I like options.

Grover is all you need really, but understand heavier tuners will change the sound. If you are having tuning issues, check the nut before making the investment in new tuners.

The g string is constantly giving me issues. Is there a way to see if the nut is the issue short of changing it?

If I do change it, would you recomend a bone replacement?

First check to see that there is no burrs in the slot, then use a graphite pencil to lubricate the slots.

Restring and give them a good stretch. That will usually knock out most tuning issues.
