I consider myself an "intermediate" player. Interested in exploring Jazz a little more. I'm looking for a book that is a good primer for chord melodies and the like. Maybe some easier versions of jazz standards. Sort of back to basics approach.
I can sight read, so tab is not required. My jazz experience includes some fiddlin' with "Kind of Blue" by Miles, "Freddy the Freeloader", "Blue Bossa." Jazz standards.
Any suggestions?
