Recommend passive Duncans for basswood 7-string?

I have a Custom in my alder-bodied 7, looking for a similar sound with basswood (my backup guitar). Think Iced Earth, tonally.

For a this kind of music in a basswood guitar I would look into the DiMarzio Evolution 7. If it has to be Duncan for whatever reason check out the Full Shred 7.

I guess it doesn't have to be Duncan...if I was looking at DiMarzio, what would be the most comparable to the sound of the Custom? How's the Air Norton 7 as a bridge pickup, paired with the PAF 7, for example? The descriptions of those sound like they'd be close to the Custom and '59, but people seem to feel that DiMarzios are better-suited to basswood than Duncans.

FYI: Also considering the Bare Knuckle Aftermath.

I've got an Invader in what I believe to be a basswood Jackson DX7 and it sounds quite similar to the Custom7 in my alder-bodied 7-string Warrior.
