Recommendations on Ukuleles.

I want to try something different, so I decided to get a ukulele. This allows me to play something at night or when my guitar is not with me/ in the repair shop. Do any of you have any experience with using them before? I looking for a new one around $30-50. If any of you know of any good starter websites that would be great too. i know from personal experience that the ones from musicians friend are good. HOWEVER, there are different ones, some are more bassy and bigger, while some are more trebly and smaller......all are cool....



little cool thing, george harrison allways carried a uke with him durring touring and traveling because they were so easy to pack (quite litterally) and you could jam anywhere......

Ukes are cool instruments. My gf picked me up one when she came back from Hawaii. It sounds great and it only cost her something like $15. Ukes must be pretty hard to sound bad.
