Recommended force in Lbs and dimensions for neodymium magnetizer block mags?

Hello, could anyone offer advice on the recommended force in Lbs and preferred dimensions for neodymium magnetizer block mags? Also, any recommendations of a source for quality neodymium bars / blocks in the United States? I already have a small - medium size vise similar to the MJ Tone brand I have seen. Thanks

i got some neo blocks from cms magnetics. not sure what you mean by force in lbs. i use 3" x 1" x 1/4" or 1/8" bars in a vice. i keep a 1/32" piece of plastic over each mag to keep the pup from touching the magnets.

The pull force is listed in pounds on some sites from around 7 to 30 pounds. I guess any may work, but don't want to get weaker than needed. I believe I saw some neos that were plastic coated.
