The links didnt work for me, but I found the music... is it the "Open Door"?.

I'm really impressed with this. Man I really liked it alot. Catchy tune and some really nice melodies in the solos. If you've only been playing 4 years that is phenomenal.

I have 2 critiques for you..

Stop playing fast until you get your chops up a little and more in key. I noticed when you start shredding you go out of key and get real sloppy. The slow and medium speed stuff was awesome, great licks.

The fuzzy unnatural direct sound of the guitar. I see you have a 5150, you should mic that baby up and rerecord this, I bet it will sound PHAT.

thanks for the comments, unluckily the song i wasmeant to be showing is called Open Door 2, a tighter and imo better played version of the same song. also the guitar sounds better because in the original recording you heard it was all digital, in the new recording as i saids above i used my marshall which is in a whole different league :), i cant use my 5150 for recording because its too loud and i cant be bothered with mic placements etc, though i have a shure sm58 ive never been confident with micing up amps. with my marshall i can get a very near same tone and use the speaker emulated line output and record with my headphones so i dont disturb the rest of my house :P.

That was very good playing there. Loved the melodies and the phrasing.
I must agree that you are a bit off when playing fast but that´s just a lil thing. :cool3:
