Recording device?

As a complete beginner, I need help/advice for a device to fit my situation:
Want to record 2-3 hours a week, nothing professional, just jamming. Would like to just record then plug device to computer to edit/save good stuff and delete the crap. I use a cheap cell phone now but want something dedicated for this specific task.
As of right now I'm looking at getting the Zoom H2n...what else should I consider keeping in mind that simple operation and decent recording are my main 2 factors.
Appreciate the help

It should do just fine.

Re: Recording device?

I use the predecessor to the DR-5, the DR-1, for recording rehearsals. Works great! The only bits of advice I can offer if you go this route are 1) definitely get some sort of adapter to put it on a stand, 2) set the input gain to Low as the mics are super sensitive.

Alternatively you can also get the Tape app for iPad from Focusrite for free. I use that app a lot as well.
