is there anything like the line6 toneport ux2 only with three or four (preferably four) mic inputs and can run all of the inputs at the same time for a relatively low price? in other words i want something with the above specifications that can take instruments and put them on the computer through the usb for recording. i also want one line input for the bass and one for the pzm mic
how many drum mics should i use?
also what mic should i use for the drums? will the sm57 mic by shure work for the lows and highs?
what pzm mic should i use for ambient miking?
i plan on close miking with the sm57 on the drums and the guitar and then using another sm57 and a realistic pzm for natural + ambient miking. will this work well?
will i need a mixer in between the mics and the toneport-type-thing :smack: ?
