Re: Recording Help Please
Update.
Thanks to all that chimed in and helped. Problem is solved. It turns out that the first guy at Radio Shack sold me the wrong adapter. I needed a 1/4" mono to 1/8" stereo adapter and he sold me a 1/4" stereo to 1/8" stereo adapter. So the input to the adapter was looking for a stereo signal from my mono guitar cord:smack:. Exchanged it for the right one today finally and all is well again in Jeffrey recording land.
Oh, and I though I was having a latency issue with the new adapter because every rhythm track I recorded over the bass and drums seemed to be delayed, or off just a bit. Turns out it was just my sucky rhythm playing. :chairfall Spent an hour or so just working on my timing on the rhythm part and it got much better.
There is nothing like recording to really point out the flaws in your playing. You have to be so damn tight and right on the beat or it sounds like dookie.
Thanks again for all the help guys.:smokin:
