Recording Software?

Hey guys, as some of you may know ive got an M-Audio Firewire 410. ive also got a shure sm57 for vocals and to mic amps. what would you say is the best recording software for around $75-150? I was looking at sonar home studio v4 and that looked pretty good for the price. any reccomendations?

I bought Acid Pro. I think it was $199 2 years ago or so. I really like that. Otherwise, I was looking at Sonar and Cakewalk software. I also think Guitar Tracks was annother.

These programs have come so far in the past few years, I think the most important thing is picking a program that is comfortable for YOU to work on, and fit's your style of thinking. There is always a learning curve, but some programs are inherently more difficult to learn than others.

a good alternative is Mackie Tracktion...a very powerful program for not a lot of $$.
