Recording Woes...

Ok...I'm sitting here, V-amp plugged into line in on soundcard, getting sound out of the speakers, using Sony Sound Forge 7.0, and it won't record anything. I'm not getting a reading on the programs level's either, and have no idea what could be wrong. I have everything I think should be turned on...anyone got any ideas?

well, i'm not familiar with the software... but with many recording programs you can change where the input is coming from. check the options or the help text to figure out how to change what input your using, maybe the wrong input is selected... thats the only thing i could think of...
