REEVES CUSTOM 10HG -- any owners? Anyone play one?

This amp has just come across my radar. I was thinking about getting a Lil Dawg Deluxe clone, but now I am thinking this amp may fill a niche I don't have. Or the Custom 12, either one.

Anyone here play one? Own one?

I lusted for one a couple years back. On paper the HG10 seems amazing.

But I heard alot of meh feedback from owners and what is out there on youtube or whatnot for sample clips was unimpressive so it kind of drifted off my list.

Not sure if he is still building but he is doing some very cool low watt marshall types with a variety of nos tubes like 6v6 and el90s. Yes, El90s. I had some discussion with him a couple years back, and he used to frequent the mlp forums. Also he has several clips up on the yootoob.

Now..a Reeves Custom 30 with Power Scaling? Thats one of my dream amps.

I already have an amp with a Marshall preamp, which I love. Looking for something else, which is becoming harder with Champ, JMP, Dual Rec, and Budda flavours covered.

Well the HG10 is essentially a high gain marshall class 5 (that sounds better than the Marshall)..its based on their Marshall-esque designs,not their Hi-Watts...so definitely not the anp you want if you are avoiding Marshall type amps.

Thanks for the info. My big music purchase this year will be either a new amp or dual Moog Mother 32's. A tough decision; the curse of loving both guitar and analogue synths!
