Regarding sh-8 Invaders and Gibson guitars

This is my second post so i will get straight to the point.

Will a set of Invaders perform better in a Les Paul- mahogany body with at least a 1/4" maple cap and a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard...or in an SG- all mahogony with a rosewood fretboard----guitars are amplified by either Peavey 5150 block letter, valveking vk100h and Marshall Dsl100h, eminence speakers cv75's and the wizard. ...i use two channels, clean and lead, i boost the lead channel with a VFE FOCUS (no added gain). I also use an mxr 10 band to equalize the room...i play mid tempo blues driven metal thru to regular fast chugging and single note lines with dynamic picking....both rythm and lead

Choose the guitar that you believe is better suited to deliver the best tones that you can coax from the mighty Invaders set

In a general sense my pick would be the LP with those specs. In reality every guitar, setup, and player are their own thing, so hard to know from afar.
The SG with those specs isn't as complimentary to the Invader's strengths,,,,,,,,,IMO of course.

A friend of mine plays similar style with Invader bridge and Distortion neck in his LP. He plays in drop D exclusively through a Marshall and a Mesa. His LP sounds heavy without muddiness.

I'd go with the LP. The Invaders tend to do better in guitars with a little bit of maple (or a lot) or any other brighter wood.

So, Les Paul is the general consensus, thats cool....the invader set would look pretty cool with a spalted maple top and a gun oil finish....can i get the invader set with gold hex caps?
