reglueing a classical guitar bridge?

I see that classicals don't have the angle with the base E being the longest and the high E being the shortest like on a steel string. Would it be OK to reglue it this ay or is there a reason classicals have a straight bridge? I'm sure someone here has the answer. Thanks.

Remember classic's have no truss rods. If you have the proper nut files you can do a little notch work.
