Dude, I relic'd my strat and it came out awsome. If its a thin poly coat and not a 1/4" thick peice of plastic like a squire its pretty easy. Alot of 400-600 grit sandpaper, a dremel w/ a wire brush, a pocket knife, belt buckle, and some loose change and small screws do the trick. I spent hours on Altavista.com looking at vintage strats to get an idea. Good luck.

Light it on fire and then put it out with a bag full of nickels.

iknow fender uses belt buckles to get thier strats relic.
