Remind me which SD pup is a JB / custom hybrid?

A long time ago, I was looking for a mixed coil design to tame an HSS that was icepickey with a JB- The solution turned out to be a JB coil for splitting with a custom coil to increase warmth.

I thought this later turned into a production pup, but can't remember which. Can someone bring my education up to date?

The PABT-1b will do what you are looking for. It is rapidly becoming my favorite Duncan bridge pickup.

Buy a used Full Shred, a used JB, a set of long slotted fillisters, and you can have two outstanding hybrids.

...you could get any one of the Customs as well, but I think you have more and options with an extra screw coil at your disposal.

it's not a production pickup. I make this one on a regular basis. I love using a fullshred coil instead of a custom coil because the fullshred adds a bit of articulation it would lack with the custom coil.

Makes me want one with an RCUOA5 along with a pair of ceramic spacers.

Yep, this is probably where we are going if the client moves forward-

I don't mind the work, just didn't want to do more than was necessary
