Removing A Fret

maybe you know the arabic oriantal scales, some of them contains a quarter notes in it(quarter step),that is playebale with violin and the oriantal instruments, and impposible with guitars.so some oriantal guitarist puts a 2 additional frets between the original frets.one between the nut and fret#1,and the second between #1 and #2. so one of my friend got one of those guitars, its copy of telecaster, and asked from me remove those additional 2 frets,so i instead of removing them make them flatted with the fingerboard, so they don't affect when you play on the first 2 frets.my question is ,if i remove those frets ,what must i fill in the removed space of the fret.and i'm not very expieriance in removing ,is it hard? i once tried removing on a damaged guitar ,just for learning, and i hurted the wood a little ,is there any easy way to do that?.

Sorry, but re-/de fretwork is IMO not something that can be adequately covered in the frame of a discussion thread, as the actual process is much more than simply yank and tear....

Amen brotha.

I've ruined many a cheap-guitar neck in my attempts to learn how to do fretwork.

You could of course do a bend to play those... so it's not impossible, just harder
