Repairing copper tracing

I have a pedal with some copper trace damage. Can I use conductive copper paint to repair it? I could simply use some wire as a jumper, but where's the fun in that? :laugh2:

I always hardwire the connection. Where's the fun in that? You can say part of your pedal is "point-to-point wired".

You can't just paint it on, you'd have to scrape away the mask. You could use copper tape and cut it to size, but that's just as much work as wire jumping.

Thanks Frank. Hardwire it is! I seriously got this pedal (Boss OS-2) out of a garbage bin. The company sent it out for repairs and it came back saying it would cost more to repair than replace... after snagging it up, a 3/4" piece of wire and a couple drops of solder made it good as new.

yeah just putting a wire there is an easy fix
