Replace Ibanez Edge with OFR

Has anyone replaced an Ibanez Edge (not the lo-pro) with an original Floyd Rose on an Ibanez RG 570 or similar guitar? Is it a direct drop in and do I have to be concerned with post alignment? Thanks

aren't the ege trems flyod rose licenced? if so a real one shoud fit. But if you are alleady about to change it do some woodwork and instal a wilkinson or kahler,those are just better.

If I am not mistaken the Edge is slightly more narrow than the OFR.
