Replace Wide-Range w Regular-sized Humbucker

I have a Squier Classic Vibe Starcaster and would like to replace the stock "wide-range humbucking" pickups with regular-sized humbucking pickups (which are a little smaller).



I can not find a suitable pickup ring that will cover the area.

Should I look into 3-d printing the parts, which would be a copy of the stock pickup ring modified to have the proper sized hole for the regular-sized humbucker and single center screw hole?

Any other ideas on how I can accomplish this?

I got this so I could put in a normal humbucker into my squier classic vibe starcaster. But the holes do not line up at all. Don’t waste your time or money on this if you own a Squier or Fender.​

Thoughts:

1. If there was such a plate that had holes that do match up, could something like this go on top of the OG part? (OG part would have to be modified/drilled to allow for the center screws)

2. If used stand-alone, could the 4 corner holes be filled and new holes be drilled to accommodate? Since this is just a flat plate, would there be enough height to allow proper pickup adjustment?

I'm thinking the best solution is going to be to 3-d scan the original pickup rings and then modify them to have the proper sized hole for the regular-sized humbucker and single center screw holes, then 3-d print those parts.​
