Replacement speaker for a HRDX III

I would like to replace the Celestion G12 P-80 in my Hot Rod Deluxe III with something that would make the highs smoother and have a more defined bottom end. Several people have told me that the Eminence Cannabis Rex would be a great choice....anyone else have any ideas for a replacement?

Eminence Tonespotter. Its supposed to be the Emi version of the G1265, which is my favorite speaker for Fender amps. Michael Landau uses two Tonespotters in his Hot Rod Devilles

I have an Eminence Swamp Thang in a vintage Pro Reverb that sounds great. Big bottom, textured mids, and sweet highs. It'll make a Fender combo sound bigger and bolder without adding the mid spike you'd get from a Vin 30.

cannabis rex is sweet for lower wattage fenders, but if you want more headroom and less efficiency so you can crank the amp a little harder, a texas heat will do wonders too exactly as you describe with a smoother top and fat bottom. Either speaker is killer.

Thanks for the responses! I think I am going to order a C-Rex. Is Amazon a safe bet?

Also for Christian...I put an ancient 12ay7 in v3 and that did make it sound better. What kind of killer preamp tubes are you speaking of?
