Replacing hb's with P90

I want to relplace the humbuckers on a les paul style guitar with P90's.
Anyone know, can it be done?
I'm guessing, the existing "holes" for the humbuckers are going to be way bigger than I'll need for P90s.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions on this.
