Replacing Ibanez Gibraltar Standard to Gibraltar II

I have an Ibanez RGA32 (older one with mahogany oil finish) with Gibraltar Standard fixed bridge and I don't like the look of it, I like low profile Gibraltar II version. Will Gibraltar II fit the existing holes? I mean at least two of them? I'm afraid the string-thru holes may not fit, but maybe someone knows for sure.

Yeah I meant replacing Standard one to Standard II, thanks. There are a couple of sellers on eBay from Indonesia who sell some Ibanez parts including Gibraltar Standard II. Actually, my guess is that if you want to replace Standard to Standard II you will have to line it up with the string-thru holes and then drill 4 new holes for mounting screws.

No, i think that should be direct fit without any drilling. I actually ordered one. not from ebay. Will be able to tell you in a couple of weeks. I was tempted by the Hipshot Ibby HM replacement option, but that is too expensive and i don't think it's worth. Hipshot's bridge is huge improvement over the Gibraltar Standard I but the Standard II even better then Hipshot's

I think only 2 holes will be the same, the ones that are closer to the neck, but the Standard II is longer so the other 2 holes will be a bit further away. Also, as far as I can tell from the photos of Standard II, the position of the 6 holes for the strings is different, be sure to check it before screwing the bridge down. If I am mistaken that's good! Yeah I also like the Standard II more than the Hipshot replacement. I'll be looking forward for your results!

I looked at photos and must say i'm not seeing what you are seeing. screw holes and strings holes seem exactly the same to me
