Replacing long leg with short leg baseplates?

Want to change some aph-2 to short leg to use in a wider variety of guitars. Duncan specs 49mm pole spacing; only nickel silver replacement plates I can find are 49.2mm. Anyone tried this and know if it will work? Thanks

I think it would be fine. I put 52mm coils onto a 53mm short leg baseplate recently without any problems.

Duncans are 49.2mm, AFAIK. They're the same spacing as standard Gibson pickups.

Pretty sure this is what you want. I've done it twice recently. Once with a Screamin' Demon, and once with a 59.
