I was thinking about replacing the pups in my Ibanez GSR 100 bass. It's got an alder body/maple neck and I think P bass pups would fit. I was considering a set of Bartolini's, but I wanted to know if that would be a good choice.
I'm looking for that classic p-bass thru an ampeg svt sound :saeek: . I'm running my bass into a digitech BP200 modeling bass processor on the "bomber" setting, i'm getting close but the stock pups are weak.
