Replacing saddles on a Tonepros TOM

A couple of weeks ago I ordered some Graph Tech String Saver saddles for my tonepros bridge. I can't seem to get the old saddles off. The intonation screw won't get off of the bridge and the screws are starting to wear out. I've always known that tonepros didn't come with clips preventing to be able to turn the screws out.

Also...what and where the difference between a metric and a standard tune o matic?

The differences are the distance across the bridge assembly and the size of the holes at the ends where the height adjustment screws pass through.

Typically, the vintage/Imperial type fits genuine Gibsons and accurate replicas whilst the Metric would be the choice for Epiphone and other not-so-accurate imitators.

This one is from an ESP Ninja V. I think it's a metric because all the standards don't seem to have any flathead screw on the studs.
