Replacing Strat knobs and switch tip with aged or regular white hardware

Hello,

I have a 20 year old American Stratocaster that once upon a time I thought it was cool to use metal knobs but now (maybe because I'm older) I like the stock look. The pickup have aged a bit.

My question is, would you recommend buying aged white knobs and a tip or just the regular white tips and let nature do it's thing in time? I know it's personal preference but just curious from my SDF pals

Which do you like, the aged, parchment or white look? I’d get the full Fender accessory kit that includes the Strat pickup covers, knobs, switch tip, and trem arm tip. Then it all matches the look whichever you like.

I usually defer to parchment plastics on white pickguard and aged on mint, parchment or tortoise pickguard.

I like regular white. Good call on the set as the tremolo arm tip has aged so it's good to replace them all at once and let them age naturally. Thank you!

I might just replace the covers of the pickups (and the other plastics) with new white. Or get aged white for everything. I don't think replacing just the knobs would match anything.

I have faux-aged white hardware in tea with varying results. I have found that you do not want the tea to be too strong (dark), or you will end up with tan trim instead of aged.

I like the aged look. I’d grab some old plastic parts from my bag of old strat knobs and switch tips and put em on there.

Since plastics are available in every aged color known to music, I'd just buy ones that go with the guitar in it's present state. But that's me.
