Resistor Questions...1/4 watt or 1/2 watt

About to do the treble bleed mod, thanks to Artie i've got the caps needed so I just got ahold of the resistors needed.
Just wanted to run it by you all.

The resistors that I found at Radio SHack were 100K 1/2watt 5% tolerance.
and 100K 1/4watt 5% tolerance.

Which should I use? 1/4watt or 1/2 watt???????????

Either one will work. On a guitar signal, a 1/4 watt will work just fine.

A guitar signal is around 250 nano-watts. Your 1/4 watt resistor is around a million times too large. In other words, power isn't an issue in a guitar signal. ;)
