Resistor to reduce ground current

would a resistor being used on the ground, practically reduce the ground current? what causes high ground current? if everything is grounded properly is it still possible to need to be grounded further or have the current reduced?

The guitar circuit is A/C, so a ground connection is just the other half of the required circuit.

lol @ snake oil. No nothing crazy, I just like the electronics aspect of it, I saw some literature about using resistors on the ground to reduce shockhazards

Using the Resistor to absorb some of the shock; it's been done.

Or you can avoid shock hazards by just checking outlet polarity and proper grounding...

If you're concerned, check the outlets or use a wireless to isolate yourself from the high voltage in a tube amp.

Current through a resistor is the same going in as it is coming out. There is a voltage drop across the resistor though. So if you had a resistor to terminate all your ground signals, you would be reducing the net voltage of the group d signal, but it'd be the same current. I fail to see what that'd achieve, but then I am still trying to figure out wtf capacitors and resistors do to audio signals.
